Troubleshooting sound and remote control issues

If you experience sound or remote issues, it can disrupt not only your viewing but also the way you control your TV Box. This article provides clear solutions to the most common remote control sound and sync issues.

🔊 Remote does not control volume or power

This issue is usually related to the remote configuration with your TV.

  1. Check that your remote is properly set up to control your TV : if you have multiple TV Boxes, make sure you are using the correct remote
  2. Test other buttons : if only volume or power does not work, the issue may come from TV settings
  3. Reconfigure the remote if needed (via settings)

🔊 Audio out of sync with video

This issue is often related to cables or connections.

  1. Restart your TV and TV Box
  2. Check HDMI connections : ensure no device (soundbar, etc.) is causing interference and try another cable if needed

🔄 Remote not working / not responding

This may be caused by batteries or pairing issues.

  1. Check or replace batteries
  2. Restart your TV Box
  3. Re-pair the remote if needed

🔗 Pair the remote with the TV Box (Bluetooth)

If the remote does not work, it may need to be reconnected.

  1. Press the PAIR button on the side of the TV Box (or go to Settings > Remotes & accessories)
  2. Press OK + Home for 3 seconds: if needed, try OK + 0, then repeat
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions until connected

📺 Pair the remote with your TV (volume & power)

This allows you to control your TV with one remote.

  1. Go to: Settings → Device settings → Remotes & accessories
  2. Select your remote → TV/AVR Control
  3. Test volume:
  4. If working → confirm
  5. If not → follow instructions (hold Mute until sound stops)

👉 Once configured, the remote controls TV volume and power
