Have you just purchased a Tango prepaid card? Before you can use it, you must first identify it and then activate it.

Why do I need to identify my prepaid card?

In accordance with regulations in force in Luxembourg, every new prepaid card must be linked to its user's identity.

This requirement also applies to certain prepaid cards that are already in use.

⚠️ If you are a minor, the identification process must be completed by your legal representative.

How do I identify my prepaid card?

You can choose between two methods.

Option 1: Online identification

1. Access the online identification form
2. Choose to continue the process via QR code or SMS
3. Select your identity document:
   • Identity card
   • Passport
4. Upload photos of your document
5. Complete the identity verification by taking the requested photos
6. Fill in your personal information
7. Enter the prepaid card number to be identified
8. Review the summary and submit your request

Option 2: Identification in a Tango store

Visit a Tango store with a valid identification document:

• Identity card
• Passport
• Residence permit
• Certificate of application for international protection
• Temporary residence document ("Pink Paper")

Once the identification is completed:

• Your card will be unblocked
• You will receive a confirmation SMS
• A first call must be made to activate your credit and any applicable bonuses

How do I activate my prepaid card?

Once your card has been identified:

1. Insert the SIM card into your phone
2. Switch on your device
3. Enter your PIN code
4. Your card is ready to use

💡 Your phone number and PIN code can be found on the back of your SIM card holder.

How do I top up my prepaid card?

After purchasing a Tango top-up voucher:

1. Dial *121*
2. Enter the 12-digit top-up code
3. Finish with # and confirm

How do I check my remaining credit?

To check your available credit, dial:

*120#

Can I switch to a Tango mobile subscription?

Yes. You can switch from a prepaid card to a Tango mobile subscription at any time:

• Online via the eShop
• In a Tango store
• Through Customer Service
