Are you going on holiday or a business trip? With the MyTango app, you keep full control of your communications and options, both in Europe and worldwide.
1. Travelling in Europe
Good news! With your Tango subscription, your calls, SMS and data are included throughout Europe.
You can use your mobile just as if you were in Luxembourg, without extra charges.
2. Travelling outside Europe
Outside Europe, communication costs can add up quickly. That is why Tango helps you to:
a) Set a consumption limit (Data Roaming Control)
In the MyTango app, go to Roaming Data Control.
Choose a spending limit in euros (default: €50).
Once the limit is reached, your data sessions are automatically blocked.
The limit is reset every month.
Tip: to avoid unexpected charges, turn off mobile data and background updates before arriving at your destination.
b) Estimate your costs with the roaming calculator
In the app, go to Roaming Data Control and click on “How much will I spend on my trip?”.
Enter your destination country and the country you want to communicate with (for example Luxembourg).
You will then get the list of applicable rates (data, outgoing calls, incoming calls, SMS, MMS).
3. Choose the travel option that suits you
Tango offers several international options to reduce your roaming costs:
Voyager World
Voyager World Plus
Forfait Bloqué
Forfait Bloqué+
These can be activated directly in MyTango > Communication options.
4. Take your favourite press with you
With the Digital Press service, you can access your newspapers and magazines wherever you are:
Activate the option in the app (MyTango > Digital Press).
Read publications in French, English or Italian.
Download articles in advance to enjoy them offline.
5. Practical tips before leaving
Check your options in the MyTango app (Voyager World, Digital Press, etc.).
Download your content (press, music, etc.) before travelling.
Disable mobile data if you do not have an option outside Europe.
Activate MyTango notifications to get alerts about your consumption.
