Activating your e-sim

The eSIM (Embedded SIM) is entirely digital and is built right into your smartphone!

You no longer need a physical SIM card to use your mobile plan.

 

✅ Before you start:

To activate your eSIM, please ensure you have:

•    Your subscription contract or the email entitled « Activation of your new eSIM »

•    Your QR code

•    Your PIN code

•    Your PUK code

 

Your smartphone must also:

•    Be eSIM-compatible

•    Be connected to a Wi-Fi network

 

📲 How to activate your eSIM ?

On iPhone:

1.    Open the ‘Camera’ app

2.    Scan the QR code

3.    Tap the ‘Mobile plan detected’ notification.

4.    Tap ‘Continue’ and then tap ‘Add mobile plan’

5.    Enter the PIN

6.    Your eSIM is now active

You can now enjoy your Tango subscription! 

 

On Samsung:

1.    Go to ‘Settings’

2.    Tap ‘Connections’

3.    Select ‘SIM card manager’

4.    Tap ‘Add a mobile plan’

5.    Tap ‘Add via QR code’ »

6.    Scan the QR code you received when you signed up for the contract

7.    Confirm the addition of the mobile plan using the pop-up

8.    Tap “Add”

9.    Your eSIM is now active

You can now enjoy your Tango subscription!

 

🔄 How to replace your existing SIM?

To replace it, simply repeat the process above.

If you replace a Tango SIM card, once your new eSIM is activated, your old card (eSIM or physical SIM) will automatically be deactivated and can no longer be used. 

⚠️ Please note: For data protection reasons, we will ask you to provide an identity document when requesting an eSIM.

 

📱 Which phones are compatible with the Tango network?

  • iPhone XR, XS, 11 and newer models
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer models

❓ How can I request a new eSIM or replace my current SIM with an eSIM?

You can request a new eSIM or switch from a physical SIM to an eSIM by contacting us through our contact form, by calling our customer care line, or by visiting any Tango shop.
Once your request is processed, your new eSIM activation details will be sent to your registered Tango email address.
