In rare cases, some Android smartphone users (Xiaomi, OPPO, Huawei, Samsung, etc.) may experience difficulties connecting to the 4G mobile network.
In this case, we recommend checking your APN settings.
For the mobile network to work properly, the Proxy and Port fields must be empty.
Check your APN settings :
- Go to your phone’s Settings
- Open Mobile Data, Mobile Networks, or SIM Card settings
- Select your Tango SIM card / network
- Open Access Point Names (APN)
- Make sure the Proxy and Port fields are empty
Correct APN settings :
- APN name: internet
- APN: internet
- Proxy: empty
- Port: empty
- User: empty
- Password: empty
- All other fields: empty or default settings
Access path depending on your phone brand :
Xiaomi :
Settings → SIM cards & mobile networks → Tango → Access Point Names → Tango internet
➡ Make sure Proxy and Port are empty
OPPO :
Settings → Mobile networks → Access Point Names (APN) → Select the Internet APN
➡ Make sure Proxy and Port are empty
Samsung :
Settings → Connections → Access Point Names → Tango
➡ Make sure Proxy and Port are empty
✅ Once done, restart your phone to restore your 4G connection.
